The Sinceros

Originally formed for a lengthy tour of Alpine ski resorts, The Sinceros quickly established themselves on Scotland’s party and function scene.

They have since entertained throughout the UK and Europe and have enjoyed much television and radio airplay. Successful local venues include Gleneagles Hotel, Stirling Castle, Cameron House Hotel and The Royal Yacht Britannia.

Ten years on, they continue their rare blend of fine musicianship with an extensive repertoire of classic hits (including some of the less cliched, but nonetheless memorable gems often overlooked by bands of a lesser pedigree) and are often augmented by a Horn Section for that truly special occasion.

Dave Salmon - Vocals
After a number of years performing in the Channel Islands, Dave returned to work with some of Scotland’s premier musicians - including a support slot to the Average White Band. A soulful vocalist with tremendous versatility, his effortless ability to sing every song as though he wrote it, endears him to audiences and musicians alike.

Stuart Nisbet – Guitar & Vocals
Although best known as the guitarist and Musical Director for the Proclaimers, Stuart was also a founding member of the platinum selling 80’s band, China Crisis. A session musician in much demand, he continues to perform with most of Scotland’s major recording artistes. His tastefully restrained guitar playing adds an emotional depth to The Sinceros - seldom found in those less accomplished.

Steve Grossart - Keyboards
From a family of professional musicians, Steve has been playing and teaching keyboards for over 30 years. One of Scotland’s finest players, Steve not only covers a wide range of musical styles (from ceilidh to country and rock to baroque) with ease, but is equally accomplished as a solo pianist as he is leading his 16-piece big band.

Paul Manson - Bass
Making it look deceptively easy, Paul’s understated bass playing has been the solid underpinning of countless Scottish bands for longer than he likes to be reminded. Sensitive in his approach to all musical genres, he has complimented a diverse catalogue of local and International performers.

Pat McCann – Drums & Vocals
Self-taught in the mid 70’s, Edinburgh born drummer Pat has been the subtle driving force across a wide spectrum of musical styles (from heavy rock to latin jazz). His effortless control of dynamics makes him constantly saught after, both home and abroad, as the ideal rhythm section partner.
