Paolo Nutini Joins Top Scottish Band Porkpie

Ok, only temporarily but this brief collaboration had revelers and music lovers jumping for joy at Paisley’s live music venue The Bungalow on Friday 29th of March!

The Bungalow, the aim of which is to bring old and new talent to Paisley, describes itself as “the music home of Danny Kyle, Gerry Rafferty, Paolo Nutini, Jukebox and many more”.  Indeed, when the venue first launch in the 1970’s it hosted the likes of The Clash, The Jam and countless other legends of the industry.

And on Friday Music For Scotland's very own Ska band Porkpie entertained their fans with their quintessentially big band sound, proving once again why they’re among the best bands in Scotland.  This 8 piece band - comprised of vocalists, keyboards, bass guitar, electric guitar, drums as well as a three-piece horn section - blew a storm at the venue, so much so that Paolo Nutini himself couldn’t help but join them on stage.  Performing his hit song 10/10, Paolo looked like he loved every minute of the performance, alongside the delighted band.

Fans of Porkpie praised their energetic performance:

Gillian Cadenhead wrote: “Best night out in ages!!” and Lorna Smyth summarised: “Brilliant night from start to finish.”
