About The Royales

The Royales are one of the most popular and in demand wedding function bands in Scotland at the moment. We are pleased to have them with Music for Scotland as they come with confidence, experience and our assurance that every time someone is lucky enough to book them the results will be exemplary.

They are a four piece band of two guitars, bass and drums but with the added, and fairly rare, bonus of three vocals. This gives the group not only a full three part harmony sound, but adds a huge amount to the make the original sounds of many popular songs that are loved by many, very accurate. The Royales ability to replicate tunes like this means that they can take into consideration the huge age ranges at evening functions keeping the guests happy from aged eight to eighty!

The Royales always make a connection with your guests and there is invariably an atmosphere of great fun, celebration and involvement. Their hugely comprehensive set-list has the variety and diversity to cover almost all tastes but they will also do their best to learn specific songs, should there be sufficient time prior to the performance, in order to make your band cater for your special tastes too!

This wedding band come fully equipped with a full, monitored P.A. system and lighting sets. The Royales pride themselves on providing a complete evening’s program of entertainment, including two band live-music sets, incidental music through the P.A. during the buffet, a Ceilidh section if desired,(with all the calling for the dances for the unsure!)and a disco section. Communication with clients is very important to the band and they will always liase with you thoroughly to organise your schedule around you and your preferences. They will also be happy to learn first dances given a four week advance notice prior to the function date and providing the song chosen is realistically possible with a four piece band set-up.

The Royales aim is to leave any worry, stress and preparation time of the evening to them. That way, once you have chosen your band and package, you can relax knowing that the evening section of your wedding is organized. This will free you up to focus on the myriad of other tasks for your big day! Check out just some of their more than happy clients that leave regular letters of gratitude in the testament section. We can also provide a short ceilidh set and call the dances.

All the people at the function commented to me on the night as to how good the band was which makes it all worthwile. Thanks again to Glynn and all the other members of the band for an extremly enjoyable evening and i again hope that you's enjoyed yourselves as well. Nicola Gibb, Edinburgh

Now that we are back from honeymoon wanted to say a massive thank you to yourself and the rest of the band for your fantastic performance at our wedding! You really got the party going and we had so many people comment on how much they enjoyed you. Sorry that they were a bit rowdy at times (especially during the ceilidh!) - we could see how hard you worked and you must have been exhausted by the end of the night. But you really were fantastic and really 'made' the recpetion. Thanks also for all your help in the run-up and for answering all of our questions so quickly!

Louise and Andy Sibley

Such a cracking group of guys! The band really made the evening a great success and all of our guests loved the performance. The range of music was really well suited to our guests and got everyone up dancing. The Ceildh was a really good laugh- our dancing was rubbish, but the band were very patient with us!

Victoria Harwood, Blyth

Great bunch of guys, music was brilliant, well presented, couldn't have asked for a better band for our wedding.

Simon Watson, Edinburgh
