How to impress Muzo-Matic 26 October 2014 Muzo-Matic It's been a little while since our last blog, so lots to catch up on. We've played some beautiful venues all over the country and had great fun while doing it - one might argue too much fun!One Friday was at Linlithgow Burgh Halls - a very nice venue, well worth having a look at - which, because of the non-stop dancing, was about the hottest gig I've done. Drummer Chris has a small fan onstage at all times but it was rendered useless on this occasion. The dancing got so crazy that, Guitar Rab tells me, someone smashed a glass with his head! There was no blood so I'm dubious as to the truth if this story. The next night was in Perth at - I didn't believe this til I saw it - a hen party... ! So that was a bit nuts. There was a competition for who could draw the best 'thing', the 2 winners where displayed on pillars either side of the dancefloor and all entrants had their drawings of 'things' stuck on the far wall. I have a panoramic of all these drawings of 'things' but I've been told it would be 'inappropriate' and 'vulgar' to post here. The buffet was extraordinary: cold meats including salmon, ham and beef; chicken in mushroom sauce, rice, chicken in tomatoe sauce, rice and garlic bread; chocolate cake, strawberry cheesecake, fruit salad and profiteroles. If you want to impress Muzo-Matic, that's how!
