COVID-19 UK FAQs - support for our Clients and Bands

Scottish Wedding Covid Support

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has thrown everyone into a state of uncertainty, and anxiety about the future is difficult to ignore. Supporting our bands and customers is our number one priority as without them we wouldn’t exist. One thing is for certain, we’re all in this together so we wanted to provide you with answers to the key burning questions our clients and bands have and offer some reassurance during these unprecedented times.

We cannot say a big enough thank you to our customers and artists for their loyalty and support. With everyone struggling to stay afloat and deal with the numerous disappointments and curveballs this pandemic has triggered, we’re grateful to them for their patience and understanding as we batten down the hatches and weather the storm until - inevitably - normality is restored.

As we’re all currently following Government guidelines and working from home, we can’t answer any phone queries, not least because we want to make sure that no detail gets omitted and that all of our customers are getting a consistent message. To achieve this, it’s is best to carry out any communication over email so that you have the reassurance that everything we discuss is in writing and you can refer to it in the future. Life is confusing enough at the moment and we don’t want any miscommunications to complicate it further! We are however working round the clock to answer your questions as fast as possible so send us an email on [email protected] and we’ll get back to you ASAP.

We can’t wait to finally play at your wedding and make it the incredible day you deserve - in the meantime, here are some of the FAQs we’re getting through.

Can I reschedule my event?

Yes. All you have to do is choose a new date, we’ll make sure the band are still available and book you in without any additional fees.

What if my band aren't available on the new wedding date?

No problem! We’ll let you know which of our bands are free and all you have to do is choose an available artist from our extensive list of talent and we’ll book them for you instead. All of our musicians are phenomenal so you needn’t worry. You can see and hear our bands in hD on our website

Can I keep my existing booking and pencil in another date/dates?

Unfortunately, to ensure we are fair to all of our customers, we are offering a one time, fee-free postponement so you can either keep your existing booking as is or formally move the deposit to a new date, on us. 2021 and 2022 are booking up at a colossal rate so we can’t pencil in dates and deal with the levels of demand we’re experiencing.

What if I just need to cancel altogether?

No problem. We’ll be sorry to have to cancel your booking but we understand how difficult the current state of the world is for everyone so we’ll try and make life as easy as possible for you and we won’t charge you for cancelling. Unfortunately deposits are non-refundable as they help to cover the costs of processing your booking. That being said, we’ll make the cancellation process as pain free as possible.

We’re working very hard to make sure our customers and bands are supported through this crisis and we’ll do everything in our power to make your lives a wee bit easier where we can. Your loyalty is helping keep a hard working, Scottish business afloat during these troubling times and we’re very grateful to you all. Our bands’ calendars are filling up at pace for next year and 2022 so if you do want to book with us, please don’t hesitate and contact us now to avoid disappointment. We know that things are uncertain at the moment but normality will return and we hope to be celebrating your wedding day with you as soon as they do.

Stay safe everyone.
