Thank you for all your help booking Ceilidhdonia. We were delighted with the band - they were absolutely fantastic. Dave was an exceptionally patient and amusing caller, especially as half of us didn't even know our left from our right. The music was great and all our guests had a fabulous time. Even the men who never dance were up on the floor. One of the highlights of the wedding for me was the final set they played where all our guests were up dancing and everyone was laughing and smiling. The only disappointment was that they couldn't play longer! We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

Hello Dave Just a wee email to thank all you guys very much for a wonderful performance on Saturday 6th December at the Station Hotel Ellon on our wedding day. We are very grateful for you all playing a part in our very special day. The reports we have received from our guests has been of the highest order. We have yet to hear one bad report and we reckon that bad report will never arrive. The dance floor was always packed, at some points people were actually having to wait for their turn to join the dance floor as it was that full at times so we have heard. As much as it is what we paid you guys for, your assessment and musical choice was second to none the whole evening from start to finish. If anyone we know asks if we know of any bands to perform at wedding receptions or similar we will highly recommend yourselves. We hope to see you perform again in the future. Ceilidh-Donia played at our wedding on the 20th May and they were just absolutely fantastic! We spent a long time deciding on a band, for us having a good band play at our wedding was one of the most important things and when we found Ceilidh-Donia on 'Music for Scotland' we booked them immediately. There were some issues with our venue which almost meant they wouldn't be able to play for us, but Dave kept in touch throughout and offered us lots of reassurance throughout this stressful time! On the night of the wedding Ceilidh-Donia were very friendly and approachable and they played brilliantly. We, and our guests had a brilliant time and our Irish guests were thrilled that Ceilidh-Donia were able to play a few Irish tunes. The musicianship and vocals from the band were excellent and they really provided the fun, party atmosphere we were looking for! My 91 year old grandmother was exhausted but refused to go to bed early as she wanted to stay for the music. It was great to have a mixture of music as we both have quite eclectic music tastes and our guests really enjoyed the Ceilidh dancing- thank goodness the band called the dances for us! We would highly recommend Ceilidh-Donia as a function band and are very thankful that they played at our wedding.
