Bridges are one of Scotland's best live wedding bands consisting of 6 highly experienced, versatile and talented musicians. With an average age of just 25, they have travelled all over Europe and the UK and worked within almost every sector of the music industry, including both studio and live engineering, record production, events management and private tutoring. This band knows the business of entertaining inside out.
Bridges formed whilst studying for a Bachelors Honorary Degree in Music in Scotland's stunning capital city - Edinburgh. All of the band members are multi-instrumentalists with the ability to play at least 2 separate instruments to a high standard as well as having a strong and versatile vocal ability.
Their combined performing experiences has seen them working in many different original and cover bands, cabaret acts, musical theatre productions, and as session musicians covering live, studio and TV platforms.
With a versatile and diverse range of songs (their song list is extensive to say the least), Bridges are able to adapt to any situation and their vast knowledge, talent and experience provides everyone with an energetic and enjoyable performance - whether your guests like to sit back and enjoy the skilled musicianship or dance and party the whole night through.
Their lively, charismatic stage presence makes them one of the most exciting and enjoyable live bands in Scotland to hire, guaranteeing a memorable and explosive experience for any wedding, corporate event or celebration.
Bridges offer:
- A live covers band with a versatile and extensive set list
- Traditional Scottish Ceilidh with Caller; Bridges can also provide a full traditional ceilidh set led by Charlie West - an accomplished fiddle player. The band can play as little or as much live ceilidh music as you want - it's your night so we will adapt the set to suit you. Don't worry if you or your guests are unfamiliar with the art of ceilidh dancing - their lead singer will take you through the dances, step by step.
- Bridges will also learn first dances and special song requests and, as they have 3 very experienced male and female vocalists in the band they can cover almost anything .
- A DJ package upon request and play background.
- Background music during your buffet.

Bridges were absolutely fantastic and even better than what we had hoped for. They delivered everything we wanted from a wedding band and more! Communication with the band was good and they arrived on time and set up ready to go without us even being aware of them. They got everyone up for the ceilidh and explained the dances really well for anyone unfamiliar with ceilidh or needing a refresher. They performed our first dance song beautifully and definitely did a classic song justice! The rest of the night was then filled with excellent tunes and energy that kept everyone up on the dance floor and having a ball.
