We go to a lot of weddings. A lot. And each one is special and spectacular in it’s own way, in part thanks to the fantastic suppliers who work hard to make a couple’s big day as memorable as possible.
As our bands are so popular and in such high demand, they have played at most of the wedding venues throughout Scotland and are privileged to have experienced some of the finest settings the country has to offer. Getting back to nature is seriously on trend and the eco-centric movement is growing in popularity. So if you feel at your most comfortable amongst scenic greenery and want to steer clear of the more formal elements of a wedding then Comrie Croft is for you.
With some serious Green Tourism credentials Comrie Croft is something a wee bit different. Whether you’ve always dreamed of getting married in a forest, a meadow or in the courtyard of a quaint farmstead, here - in the 231 acres of scenic fields and woodland - you’ll be spoiled for choice. Looking for an intimate wedding venue brimming with atmosphere? Then Forgans should be at the top of your list. Exchange your vows at one of the multitude of the surrounding, romantic locations and celebrate your big day in the industrial-chic and relaxed space within the former cleek factory. With its painfully cool décor you won’t be short of a picture-worthy spot for your wedding photos and the Scottish produce-led food and drinks will make sure that you and your guests are well fed and watered.
Choosing between the two picturesque locations - the world famous St Andrews and the scenic Broughty Ferry - will be difficult. The university town of St Andrews - frequently referred to as "The Home of Golf" - with its gothic architecture and cobbled streets is certainly a popular wedding destination however Broughty Ferry is hot on its heels. Sypsies Farmhouse, Crail, Fife, KY10 3XA
The Cow Shed is really quite something - simple and sophisticated it is a shed in name only. Situated in the East Neuk of Fife, in the picturesque seaside village of Crail, the venue is a fantastic spot for countryside lovers and couples who want to have stunning scenery as the backdrop to their wedding photos.
A former part of a Fife dairy, The Cow Shed was launched in 2016 and has become a sought after location for weddings, events and corporate functions. Situated a stone’s throw away from St Andrews, with some of the most gorgeous sea views we’ve seen, Kinkell Byre is a seriously sleek venue. The pictures simply don’t do justice to the versatile space, and when we say versatile, we mean it – want to hold your own highland games, ride down the aisle on a tandem bicycle, or have a 4000 strong ball? It’s all possible.
Kinkell Byre can cater from 40 to 2000 guests and double that if you’re extra popular and want to add a few marquees. In the 16 years the venue has been open, it has held 700 events which equates to around 250,000 memories so you can be certain in the knowledge that the expert team here have seen it all.
