The summer solstice places us right in the middle of wedding season, and we here at Goldstar have been hitting the road hard and consistently. This has allowed us to take in some of the more spectacular locations of the country, including the likes of Loch Lomond, Glencoe… and Fife. We've played some great Tunes in Troon, some Lynyrd Skynyrd in Kinnaird, and we've even played Tina Turner in a Tipi. But regardless of time and place, we've been seeing dance floors filled, good times had and undoubtedly plenty of memories made. Not to mention enough instances of guests falling over to occupy a full season of You've Been Framed. We have included a few snaps down below but make sure to have a look at some more of the great pictures and stories from our recent shows on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/GoldstarBand.
Once again, thanks to everyone who has booked us in the past few months! And if you’re currently considering booking the band but would like to see the us in action first, then come to one of the upcoming Music For Scotland showcases to see us play a short taster set. We’ll be playing at the Classic Grand, Glasgow on the 18th of August, so come along to say hello, have a few drinks, and enjoy some quality pop, rock, soul, funk, disco etc.
Although the nights are slowly getting shorter, there’s still plenty of summer left, and plenty more weddings in the Goldstar calendar. So as we continue learning first dance songs, racking up miles on the road and ensuring that ‘Big Days’ end in a party to remember, we hope you have a great summer, and if we’re part of your wedding in the next few months, we look forward to seeing you soon!
Goldstar out!
